My name is Fabrice Jaslet, I am a UK illustrator and visual artist based in Glasgow.

I moved to London in 2017 from Paris to pursue my career as a musician - I have now been a practicing musician for more than 15 years. My first passion was for art and drawing and am now offering my services as a freelance illustrator.

Primarily self taught, I studied Illustration and Visual Communication at the University of Westminster for a semester and attended the University of the Arts London (UAL) Illustration short course and also refined my drawing skills at the London Fine Art Studio.

Since 2020 I have been working in collaboration with the band Scarlett Saint and I am now their sole visual artist, I create bespoke artworks and develop the visual concepts and aesthetic.

I have also collaborated with other upcoming musical acts such as Johnny Onda and The Black Vipers.

Under the artist name Fonta, I create illustrations with a strong sense of narrative and world building: each of my artwork’s is an open door toward its own story, time and place, stimulating the imagination of the viewer.

My work is deeply inspired by Graphic Novels and Science Fiction, I also find inspiration in esotericism and surrealism. I enjoy applying these aesthetics even in my more traditional work to give them a distinctive feel.

I am passionate about collaborating with other creatives such as musicians or writers and getting myself inspired by their amazing projects. From album covers to Spotify Canva’s or content for social media (promotional reels, post illustrations), I like helping other artists realise their vision and providing them with the ability to share their art and creations.

However I am dedicated to a variety of media and always apply a client centric ethos to my work:

My skill set ranges from traditional media - such as ink, pastel or watercolour - to digital art, I am versatile in my image making techniques and aim to deliver high quality images with my unique style and vision to my clients or creative collaborators.

In addition to my skills as an illustrator, clients can always count on my hard-working attitude and commitment to help them realising the full potential of their projects.

My first priority is satisfaction from the people I work with and that my work respects their initial intentions. I can manage deadlines effectively and be flexible to my clients requirements.

Communication has a central place in the way I manage my projects: by sending regular updates and incorporating clients’ feedbacks from the first drafts until the projects completion.
